Ray Wilkins Hired As New Head Coach At Jordan

Ray Wilkins will move to Jordan next week to begin a five-month spell in charge of the country’s national team. The former England international will lead the team at the AFC Asian Cup in Australia in January.

“I am relocating, Frank and I will be moving out in the middle of next week, so we will be putting a lot of time and effort into the job,” Ray told Sky Sports News.

Cambiasso Sign For Leicester City

Leicester City have signed former Inter Milan captain Esteban Cambiasso on a one-year deal.

The former Argentina international made 32 starts for Inter last season but was released in the summer and available on a free transfer.

Alex McLeish joins KRC Genk

Former Aston Villa and Rangers manager Alex McLeish has been named the new boss of Racing Genk. Alex has joined the Belgian club for the next two seasons having left Nottingham Forest in 2013.

The club said: ‘KRC Genk is proud to present its new trainer: Alex McLeish. He signed a contract for two seasons. Welcome Mr Alex McLeish.’

Championship side Brentford have signed striker Nick Proschwitz

Proschwitz departs from Premier League side Hull City on an initial 12-month contract, with the Bees having an option for a further two years.

Proschwitz joined Hull from SC Paderborn 07 in summer 2012 and went on to score seven goals in 37 appearances for the Tigers. He scored four times in 14 outings during a loan spell with Barnsley in the Championship at the end of last season.

“Nick is an aerial threat and has very good technical ability,” Warburton said.
