Jon started First Artist in 1986 having successfully sold his entertainment company in 1981. He has been one of the most recognised and respected spokespersons for the UK Sports Industry over the last two decades, as well as the promoter of some of the country’s biggest sporting events, such as the NFL American Football, NBA Basketball and the NHL Hockey visits to Britain, the Horse of the Year Show, the Martial Arts World Championships and the London Evening Standard 5-aside Championships. He was also the Chief Executive of the London Monarchs during the inaugural World Bowl winning season at Wembley. Latterly, he is responsible for the formation of the Association of Football Agents. Jon is a patron of the British Stammering Association and trustee of the Lee Smith Foundation.
